Training at Scott Equestrians

  Scott Equestrians offers full service training year round. Each horse has an individual training schedule developed by Giovonna, with both horse and rider in mind.


  A successful training program is one that that promotes happy, healthy and safe horses that enjoy their work, and encourages good communication between horse and rider. Giovonna considers the control of classical posture, the development of the natural gaits with perfect acceptance of the aids and a preservation of suppleness from the horse essential elements of her training program.


 

  With a limited amount of horses in training, each client and their horse receive the personalized service that accompanies a small select facility. Giovonna personally rides each horse in it's training program, enabling her to consistently monitor their health, soundness, attitude and training development.​ 

  Scott Equestrians develops a personalized training program for each horse and rider. Schedules for riding lessons and other services are flexible to suit the needs of our clients.

Training Sessions:

 

    5 days/week (20 monthly)  includes up to 3 lessons weekly                      $650

    3 days/week (12 monthly)  includes up to 2 lessons weekly                      $525 

    2 days/week (8 monthly)  includes up to 1 lesson weekly                          $425

Basic Care Package- $75

  • Daily grain (premade bags)

  • One weekly grooming

  • Daily care check of all legs and general health

  • Fly mask on/off in summer months

 

Full Care Package- $125

  • Daily grain (premade bags)

  • 3x weekly grooming

  • AM blanket removal during blanketing months

  • Daily care check of all legs and general health

  • Fly mask on/off in summer month

  • Basic wound care

 

Elite Care Package- $225

  • Daily grain (premade bags)

  • AM and PM blanketing during blanketing months

  • Daily care check of all legs and general health

  • Fly mask on/off in summer months

  • Bathing (as necessary at owner’s request)

  • Mane pulling (as necessary at owner’s request)

  • Basic clipping (bridlepath, ears, legs)

  • Ice boots

  • Preparing grain bags

  • Injections

  • Wound care

  • Administer daily Medications
